Commercial Content Editor: September 2019 to June 2020 (maternity cover)
I ran print and digital advertorials for all the brands in TI Media’s Life & Style portfolio: Marie Claire, Woman & Home, Woman, Woman’s Own, Woman’s Weekly, Chat and Pick Me Up. I was responsible for generating and pitching ideas to clients, then turning these ideas into engaging and innovative content. I managed a team of freelance writers and a team of Project Managers, and worked with a sprawling network of picture editors, sub editors and designers. This role required impeccable attention to detail, excellent communication and organisations, and world class editorial skills.

I work with a garden designer on her designs, and I maintain private gardens for clients in Forest Hill, Peckham, Hackney and Nunhead.

I was responsible for the day to day running of NME, overseeing all elements of commissioning and production. I managed the print budget and maintained the smooth running of NME’s digital-first strategy - all section editors and commissioning editors reported to me. I delivered all partnership content into the magazine, and worked with the Editor in Chief and Creative Director on visuals including the magazine cover, event logos and concepts for shoots and commercial campaigns. I was the editorial lead on everything to do with music, film, food and drink.

I edited the 40-page front section of FHM magazine, commissioning and editing all copy for these pages and working closely with the art and picture desks on the visual concepts. I also wrote about food, drink, music, film, TV, sport, technology and fitness.
